family constellations
WHAT ARE FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS?
It is a phenomenological and systemic psychotherapeutic work method, created by Bert Hellinger.
From the understandings that Hellinger obtained about the “orders of love” he developed this therapeutic tool that allows the client to obtain a
understanding of the family dynamics and plots that generate and
keep problems.
The starting point of family constellations is the projection of
internal images that the person has about their personal relationships
and about the place it occupies in relational systems, whether the family
or other systems.
The psychological change that the process of family constellations
sets in motion occurs via the re-signification of the “FIELD”.
WHAT DOES YOU DO IN A SESSION?
In a family constellation session you can participate in three ways
many different:
1) As a customer
2) As a representative
3) Just as an observer.
The procedure in family constellations begins with the presentation of a theme/problem by the client. A brief interview follows to outline the elements that will configure the constellation. During the session the reps move according to what they spontaneously feel or perceive, either physically or emotionally.
The role of the facilitator is to accompany and guide, facilitating the conciliation, seeking a solution to the problem.
Family constellations can be done in person or online, either in individual or group consultation.
